The Chinese Coins Installation 2017 is a collaboration between Edison Chen and amigo & amigo. This work was commissed by the Haymarket Chamber of Commerce for their winter Market of Lights program. The installation consists of 72 animated coin lanterns that hang off the Dixon St trees in Chinatown, Sydney. They evoke Chinese symbolism of cascading weatlh and aim to invite prosperity to the Haymarket district.
